Poster Submission

The University Imaging Centers offers large format printing at all three of our locations across the UMN-Twin Cities campuses.

Payment

Internal UMN payment may be in the form of an EFS chart field string.

We also accept credit/debit card payment (MN Sales Tax will be applied). If you plan to pay using a UMN Purchasing Card, or get reimbursed by the UMN, please provide a UMN EFS payment string instead.

Turnaround

  • Standard Turnaround– 24-48 hours - Posters submitted by 10am are typically printed by 4:30pm the next working day.
  • Rush Next Day– Posters needed in less than 24 hours are subject to a $35 rush fee
  • Same-day Rush– Posters needed in 4 business hours or less are subject to a $55 rush fee

Orders will be processed during standard business hours Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Rush services will be determined and applied by UIC staff based on the time of submission and requested due date.

Multiple posters needed for classes or symposiums will require more lead time. For more information or to coordinate course or event printing please submit a poster printing services request.

Sizing

Due to trimming constraints, we accept posters up to 72" on the long edge.

If your poster is longer than 72" on the longest edge but is exactly 60" (cloth), or 50" (standard semi-gloss) wide, we will also accept. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns regarding sizing.

Travel Tubes

Travel Tubes are simple telescoping mailing tubes to keep your poster safe while traveling.
